Information Trapping

This topic greatly affects me and anyone else that is in a field that has constantly evolving software and technology. I can stay curent using tools like RSS, web page monitors, and other tools to watch for these changes and keep up to date with the technology and stay ahead of the curve.

  1. I agree, I think that the fact that more tools are available for us to get the information we want make thinks much easier to keep up with the “flow”.

  2. I’m surprised we all came across tara calashain as a resource. She did explain information trapping well. Are there any ways in particular you’re using information trapping technology to stay ahead of the curve? What sites did you find most appealing? I found one called furl that lets you save copies of the web pages you bookmark, it seemed pretty useful.
